Eratosthenes first measured the circumference of the earth from the shadows cast by the sun. Today, humanity's fitness to survive will be measured by our ability to conquer that same thermonuclear fusion that casts those shadows. Thus, Prometheus will truly be unbound.

Reply to Greenwald's Article "Inside the mind of James Clapper"
When this country became host to an institutionalized culture of rewarding liars, we lost the soul of our reason for becoming a nation. This fetid subversion emanates from Wall Street. Remember when Bush’s Secretary of the Treasury Paulsen went to Congress tearfully on bended knee? For what? To bail out and thereby reward rampant criminality. So, is it any wonder that this sort of mentality penetrates especially to our execrably vaunted “intelligence” bureaus?

Energy Throughput: an Inherent Universal Lawfulness
This important research reported on here leads us to draw once again on the work of Vernadsky and LaRouche. Biophysical energy density throughput is fixed by a limit of transmissibility. This limit holds for all life forms in the biosphere with the exception of humanity. Our uniquely noetic powers artificially increase this throughput with no limits excepting our current scientific development. Thus we have moved to ever more dense sources of fuel as we approach the advent of thermonuclear fusion and still even more energy dense matter anti-matter reactions in the not far off future. This is the realm of the noosphere.

The Soul of Scientific Progress is Irony
I commented lately on an article that presented the debate about how eucaryotes might have evolved only once from a merger of archaea and bacteria. Along these lines, the very principle of evolution as non random, nonlinear problem solving by biota via singularity at more efficiently capturing and utilizing available energy and elements hearkens back to Leibniz' principle of the least action pre-established harmony.
In other words, the Universe is so ordered or composed such that change or flux is invariant. However, there is a predisposition toward change that produces harmonic order. That particular quality is naturally attuned to human creative productions. For instance, the resolution of contrapuntal tension created via cross voicing in the fugues of J.S. Bach is the most unmediated emotional correlative of the higher harmony.

Why a Unified Field Theory Will Forever Fail
So long as a theory of everything is limited in scope to only address the inorganic realm it is a contradiction in terms. For what can account for the passion of humanity that is immanent to the pursuit of happiness? Indeed, we know that our sun will expire in due course in the foreseeable future. So the pathway to achieving the solution to our specie's continued survival past that eventuality is embedded in the very essence of physical space time. To refute this truth is a fool's errand. Unfortunately there are all too many such among us of late.
