Eratosthenes first measured the circumference of the earth from the shadows cast by the sun. Today, humanity's fitness to survive will be measured by our ability to conquer that same thermonuclear fusion that casts those shadows. Thus, Prometheus will truly be unbound.

The Vision of God in a Snowfall
If one walks facing the sun among the new fallen snow, glancing at the right attitude, one sees a remarkable vision and theodicy: the flakes act as prisms and glitter thousands of primary colors consecutively. Hats off to Nicholas of Cusa and Leibniz. What more proof of God does anyone deserve than this?
