But of course this would meet with the usual anti GMO opposition. The romantic idea that a pristine state of nature is preferable to scientific intervention to improve conditions which lead to disease is irrational. Of course, we have been bombarded with this very mindset by the supposed intellectual elites who tell us that we will never go back to a manufacturing economy.
