Greeting the New Year

Every time we lift our eyes heavenward
With new eyes that never a soul
Has peered ere now across the universe
We celebrate a new eclipse of powers
So gently aligned with our destiny
To be forever in the stars yet not begun
Unleashed and still unbowed for evermore.
