Trump’s psychotic doomsday presidency is at a turning point. And we have little to do but act the tragic chorus. The near term outcome, no matter what this latter day Nero finally decides in the next couple of hours, is very bad.
If Trump “tacos” then we are entering a world war that will rewrite the geopolitical calculus for years to come. If he carries out his “bomb them back to the Stone Age” criminality then there are two branching alternatives. One is nuclear war. Not good. The other is collapse into chaos that will perhaps take the rest of this century to overcome.
Barring nuclear war, there is a way out. Here are some principles that will allow us to survive on a long term basis:
Rewrite the global monetary system to accommodate mutual development aims. (This means a takedown of the Epstein class oligarchical criminal control over economics.)
Develop international cooperation to forge infrastructure to eradicate poverty and disease.
Collaboration in conquering space.
