Wilhelm von Humboldt on Creativity

As I was reading a rather tiresome report this morning on the naming of colors, it put me in mind by contrast of the great philologist Wilhelm von Humboldt. This remarkable paragraph coheres with the thrust of what this blog has endeavored to represent. It speaks grandiloquently for itself:

Reality, that is, truth and nature itself, is certainly not less noble than art; it is rather the model of art. Its essence is so great and sublime that, in order for us to approach reality to any extent, the only way open to us is to forge a path as yet unknown, just as art does. The smallest object of reality is infused with the same essence; and it is absolutely wrong, that nature in its perfection could be found only in all its particular objects taken together, that the totality of the vital force could be found only in the sum of the particular moments of its being. Both may certainly appear this way, but one cannot think of space as being severed, or of time as being divided. Everything in the universe is one, and one all—otherwise there is no unity at all in the universe. The force pulsating in the plants is not simply a part of the force of nature, but all of it. Otherwise, an unbridgeable gap is opened between it and the rest of the world, and the harmony of organic forms is thereby irreparably destroyed. Every present moment contains all the past and future in itself, for there is nothing to which the fleetingness of the past can cling, as the perpetuity of living.

Further on in this same work Humboldt expresses in an understandingly diplomatic tone (for he was such) my precisely undiplomatic polemic against any false equivalence between the model of the Roman empire's evil imperialism (i.e, the "liberal democracy" of British imperialism) and the products of Plato and Aeschylus.

The test of modern nations is their feeling for antiquity, and the more they value the Greeks and Romans equally, or the Romans over the Greeks, the more those nations will fail to achieve their characteristic, specially set goal. For in as much as antiquity can be called ideal, the Romans participate therein only to the extent that it is impossible to separate them from the Greeks.

Life should stitch and create ideas by the fullness of its movement, by ideas superior to itself and to every activity. Steven Hawking: Anti-Science Quack

Hmm. It seems that the professor Hawking's brain has now traveled through some sort of black hole that has reversed time somehow. Very frightening. His mind has somehow melded with Parson Malthus who once wrote in 1798 that the world would starve due to overpopulation. Or perhaps he now agrees with Isaac Newton whose studies in Biblical numerology led him to predict that the apocolypse will occur in the year 2060. If the celebrated misanthropic professor were really serious about his claim "that our species needs to work together," he would be promoting vastly increasing an international space program that could protect humanity from the real threat of asteroid impacts. He would also be calling for a vast increase in nuclear fusion research, massive infrastructure programs in cooperation with China and Russia and for an end to geopolitics of scarcity and Neo-Malthusian claptrap .

Hillary Clinton went from blaming a vast right wing conspiracy behind the impeachment drive against Bill to blaming a Kremlin conspiracy being behind Donald Trump. Why isn't the so called fifth estate lambasting her as a conspiracy nut? Instead they are continuing the narrative with new charges like this: "Trump's son reportedly talked Syria with Russia supporters"

What would happen if the US gave up the geopolitical "Great Game" and actually entered into mutually beneficial relations with Russia and China? John Quincy Adams promulgated this viewpoint as a concert of sovereign nations. The direction of history must be shifted toward mutual cooperation that benefits our progeny.

The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste

These discovered brain wave patterns during sleep reinforce gestalt conception of mind/brain nature not reductionist connectionist conceit of bits of information transferred by networks of neurons. The idea that the mind operates like a CPU in a computer, which is just an extension of a sterile master filing system originally derived from punch cards from a weaving "program" on a loom is absurd. But due to the reductionist worldview of neuroscience the theorists cannot see this very absurdity even though it is staring them in the face much like Poe's tale of the Purloined Letter. Their ideology is blinding.

The Need for a Riemannian Approach to Scientific Research

The remarkable quality that butyrate exhibits depending upon the microenvironment it positively effects yet again brings to mind the relevance of Bernhard Riemann's geometric model of a multi-layered surface function. In many cases we see a unique biophysical singularity that acts as a sort of branch point in different functional phase spaces. This Riemannian model has correlation in the inorganic as well, for example with transitions of fluid phases. In fact, the functioning of human creativity which may act upon multiple levels through the agency of a scientific or artistic breakthrough gives the model a wonderful universality in these three domains.

How Poetry will Supersede Mathematics in Science

These days in the parlance of mathematical physics the concept of "symmetry breaking" is ubiquitous. This would be the description of a phase of a process that through a singularity emerged into a sort of new domain of functioning.   However, it were more productive perhaps to start from a thorough grounding in what is invariant across the organization of reality in all its relevant incarnations.

Self similarity as a principle of organization and development is invariant within what Vladimir Vernadsky termed the domains of lithosphere, biosphere and noösphere. In order to grasp this fact, broaden your viewpoint of the first category lithosphere to include the Riemannian hypothesis that there is a characteristic stasis for a curvature tensor that adheres within the bounds between the very small and the very large but that may break down outside those bounds.

How the Poetic Faculty of Hypothesis Overcomes Limits of Human Senses

A result of the fact that human creativity is capable of scientific revolutions is the extension of our very limited mammalian senses into the much broader electromagnetic spectrum. It is the case that we now know that many species are capable of sensing parts of that spectrum walled off from human sense perceptions to ensure their survivability.

A recent study, for instance, hypothesizes a biophysical mechanism that may underlie migratory animal perception of the earth's magnetic field. This research is a prime example of how scientific hypotheses are generated by taking advantage of previous such revolutions.

Further, it must be emphasized that there exists a hierarchical ordering of life forms on this planet that culminates in the unique feature of humanity to go beyond our own bounded senses. This is what Vladimir Vernadsky called the Noosphere. Our ongoing survival, unlike lower species, hinges upon successive creative breakthroughs that provide us previously unknown resources.

In order for civilization to progress as rapidly as possible this uniquely human potential must be nurtured and heightened. It is the emotional correlative that accompanies great discoveries that is produced in classical forms of art which is the life blood of this creativity. It is the shared human faculty for creation and appreciation of great beauty in the arts that underlies such necessary progress.

Here John Keats eloquently displays this emotion of discovery:

Evolution is not a Toss of the Dice

The principle that there is an hierarchical ordering of the earth's biosphere that determines evolution is born out in recent research that shows adaption via disparate genomic pathways in different species. Thus the vector of evolution is not random genetic mutation but a energy landscape constrained and bounded by conditions that prevail in similar ways globally. This is to say that there is a reverse projective conformal causal geometry at work.

The idea of a pre-established harmonic ordering that Leibniz proffered is quite real. To understand the implications of this though, one must go beyond the relatively fixed range of possible mutations in mere biological evolution. Indeed, we need to project backwards from the unique nature of humanity's defining characteristic. We are not limited in the same way that all other species are in this regard. We can consciously change our mode of energy throughput via deliberate innovations to move to previously unknown resource bases. It is this higher ordered non random lawfulness that thereby governs all possible forms of evolution. This unique property of human creativity provably exists necessarily. It alone is the measure of all things.

Whom the Gods Would Destroy...

The whole tone of this article really gets to what is wrong with the American electorate's reality show mindset. Throughout there is a mawkish and fawning aggrandizement of Hillary and company which resembles nothing so much as worship of the gods of Olympus -- Hollywood style.

These were the gods that were capricious and downright bestial. And if you mocked them as anything but perfect then you were ostracized or even sentenced to drink hemlock. Thus Hillary will have a scorched earth vendetta for the vast conspiracy of Julian Assange and the Kremlin from on high in her aerie perch in Mount Olympus.


But lightning bolts and Greek warships won't be launched this time. This time whom the gods would destroy they drive mad and hand over the control of nuclear weapons.

Sovereign Immunity is Over with JASTA

The doctrine of absolute sovereign immunity is irrational. It is therefore baseless. The real overarching issue is imperialism and geopolitics. The sovereignty of Saudi Arabia, for instance, is a fiction concocted for the interests above and behind control of oil resources. Wars of aggression to expand such control are imperialistic. The issue of the human right to procure freedom from this control in order to provide advancement of potential future well being of citizenry overrules the system of supposed "noblesse oblige" whatever permutation that might take.


The United States Constitution in essence already ended sovereign immunity by replacing it with a principle first and foremost of promotion of the future welfare of its citizens.It is that principle which is sovereign and relegates all other claim subordinate to it.

Mobocracy: America's Undoing?

The current disgusting state of "infotainment" style, reality show, "direct democracy" is befitting only for half besotted rubes. However, unfortunately, this snake charmer, geek show style of presidential politics currently befouling us is nothing new to the United States. It is the reason that Benjamin Franklin purportedly and provocatively told the anonymous importunate lady "We have given you a Republic if you can keep it."

Symptomatic is the spectacle of the same Jefferson who could write that all men are created equal, yet years later after leaving the White House schemed to institute a manufacturing slave economy in America while attempting to prove when challenged that Benjamin Banneker was of an inferior "race."

The ugly American syndrome resonates not only in our bellicose and cringe-worthy neocon "think tank" foreign policy "establishment elites" but pervades "virtually" every nook and cranny of this our winter of derangement. Without the creation of "do as thou wilt" "modern art" by the MI6/CIA Congress for Cultural Freedom could we have had the excrescence known as the "counter culture?"

Non Entropic Time Reversal: the Case of Mozart and Beethoven

This evening, as I was pondering the commentators on the Presidential debates, I accidentally changed the channel to tune into final movement of Mozart's 40th symphony. I have heard this performed many times, but somehow being taken by surprise and unaware like this, I had a startling "aha" moment.

This connected for me two otherwise seemingly incongruous lines of thought. One was that Beethoven's later deployment of thematic material has a remarkable eeriness when performed and conducted wisely that abruptly brings the the listener to a point of closure and then commences immediately through recapitulation to seemingly reverse time.

This is what I heard quite distinctly and though I was not really concentrating fully on it. An idea rather snuck up one me, almost surreptitiously as though out of the corner of my eye, so to speak, to pair a frankly silly "thought experiment" that modern physics proposes about time reversal and entropy with classical music.

Two things come to mind about this train of thought: one is about the universality of what is sometimes designated as the preconscious. For imagine for a moment, if you will that both Mozart and Beethoven were great lovers of the principle of the American Revolution as a beacon and foreshadowing of a most happy potential for the future of humanity.

The idea that the phase space of an inorganic physical process could reverse the "arrow of time" is tediously wacko. It brings to mind all the mental images of the hapless nerd forever ensconced isolated from reality in their own nerdlike "virtual" fantasy world. Very much like the idea that we have now somehow "emerged" into a utopian information age, where we needn't concern ourselves with the rot, which evermore surrounds  and engulfs us... Unless, we have nightmarish qualms that either artificial intelligence will turn on us or worse... aliens will do us in.

However, putting aside such craziness, the real issue of the relativity of time as Einstein approached it is germane to my theme here. For the riddle of the role of quantum mechanics' observer who changes the probability wave function through some magical sort of consciousness. That riddle's solution is just this: time itself is in the perceptual domain only of human intelligence. Thus while we can observe that effects of circadian diurnal rhythm throughout animal life at the cellular level, only we may observe this. 

So returning to the great classical composers, in the line from Bach to Brahms. Their thinking was embrued by a Leibnizian optimistic outlook of the beautiful human potential that we live in the best of all possible worlds. It is only from that highest standpoint that we overcome the revulsion for the current status of American politics.

Time reversal is indeed a singular reality in the realm of human governance. Take Plato's supposition in The Republic that as we age the wisest among us turn to issues of how we may best lay that groundwork for the mode of society's principles of continuing well being. Hence it is entirely lawful that the quality in the compositions of Mozart and Beethoven, et al. of "turning on a dime" to recapitulate on an ever higher plain of development is the secret to time reversal.

A Tale of Golden Symmetry and Beyond

Here, peering at the polar hexagon on Saturn from the Cassini spacecraft, we are reminded of Kepler's polemical opus on physical geometry called the six cornered snowflake or De nive sexangula and Gauss' Pentagramma Mirificum.

Without the creative breakthrough transition from Kepler to Riemann (Gauss' greatest follower) our space program would not be possible. But now the politics of this planet are mired in lunatic geopolitical "debates" over how technological progress is destroying the limited resources of "Mother Earth." The joke is that the real source of resources is not the physical stuff of our planetary system, although the canny Chinese government is far sighted enough to be planning to mine the moon's Helium 3 for fusion fuel. The real resource base is only to be discovered in the ironic interplay with the advances made by the ongoing and  never ending potential progress emerging anew from the creative, noetic unphysical human mind that mirrors that living composition of this our wonderful universe. The best of all possible worlds.

Now it seems to yours truly that a riff on Lennon's 1960's psychedelic song lyrics are a "good fit" to the current quagmire of such dead end mathematical logic about the supposed history of the universe. It is so full of holes. And such god awful unholy holes. Such circular "unlearned ignorance" is hard to fathom.

Here "we" have for a certainty that all matter started with a big bang... Except that "we" have no idea of what constitutes 95% of "all matter." Which brings us to the circular reasoning of Ptolemaic epicycles, oh boy... Indeed...

Bernhard Riemann and the Coming Scientific Renaissance

This characterization about how the mammalian auditory system processes sound is reminiscent of an approach that leads back to transformational Riemannian physical geometry. For example, the way in which mapping is performed along the optic nerve to transform images in the visual cortex.


The fact that Riemann himself made a profound contribution to the study of hearing is not accidental. The groundwork for the study of physical systems determine properties of curvature was Riemann's Hypotheses Which Lie at the Bases of Geometry. The idea that there is no a priori space had a revolutionary impact upon science. It is the premise of Einstein's relativity, for instance.


Today, we are limited, perhaps fatally, by misconceptions regarding humanity and nature. Take the viciously prevalent and false notion that there is only so much wealth (for example energy, food, arable land, money, etc.) to be divided among competing nations or ideologies, religious or otherwise.


True scientific inquiry functions upon a mission orientation that Benjamin Franklin adopted from Cotton Mather's principle that a society must be orchestrated to "do the good." Thus, we will prioritize areas of research that will redefine that which we consider to be resources at ever higher levels of usable energy transformational throughput.


Living systems naturally exhibit a higher ordering principle than nonliving ones. Although, in extreme cases such as approaching the speed of light or at absolute zero temperature or of fusion energy confinement regimes, inorganic systems act anomalously via singularities in a well ordered fashion.


Likewise, human creative thought is qualitatively distinct. To be precise, what is meant here by creative thought is that which uniquely bears the potential of transforming society to ever higher levels of both material and psychological well being. Again, Riemann synthesized an approach for how a physical geometry can map these features of physical and mental reality.


If we view a function upon an n-dimensional surface, say one characterized by energetic constraints, be it inorganic, biophysical or mental, their exists a potential for that function to branch into a new domain of higher energetics of new well ordered surfaces of n + 1 dimensionalities. Thus, for instance, we discover that a protein may act precisely as such a singularity that has multiple potential biophysical functions. Further, human individuals have the potential cognitive power to consciously revolutionize practice in multidimensional mental arenas, from science, economics and art.

An Ideology Fit Only for Zombies

If we were serous about reducing costs of healthcare funding for this and related extremely worthwhile research would be increased many times over. But of course this would meet with the usual anti GMO opposition. The romantic idea that a pristine state of nature is preferable to scientific intervention to improve conditions which lead to disease is irrational. Of course, we have been bombarded with this very mindset by the supposed intellectual elites who tell us that we will never go back to a manufacturing economy. Even while we visibly rot with the free trade information age dystopia fit only for zombies that Hollywood is so enamored with these days.

Circadian Rhythms as a Universal Ordering Principle

The too long ignored scientific genius of Gottfried Leibniz in the seventeenth century created the principle of pre-established harmonic ordering in his Monadology. This was parodied by a misanthrope by the name of Voltaire. This line of investigation thoroughly vindicates the Leibnizian worldview.

Further, it also sheds light upon a very important principle in that same Leibnizian outlook developed by Vladimir Vernadsky. To wit: the diurnal rotation of the earth is perhaps the sine qua non in the hierarchy of the interaction of the lithosphere with the biosphere. Indeed, it may be that life were not possible without it.

This morning, while drinking my coffee, I read an article about sunspots and solar activity which seemed quite plausible to my meager understanding of climate science. So, as always I went on to read the comments. Whoa! I murmured to myself. Someone has hacked into my identity and is now posting scurrilous and insane ripostes on the Internet in my heretofore unsullied name. Oh, imagine if you will my utter chagrin! The mortification... I must here and now denounce this utter fraud and hoaxer! Instanter! I promise to get to the bottom of this evil hack. Here meanwhile is what that clearly demented impostor had the effrontery to post in my name:

The Choice: A Descent into Monstrous Barbarity or the Age of Space Colonization

Confronting Humanity currently are twin evils of an oligarchic financial system and a dark age rule of terror. These are inextricably bound as a deliberate outcome of the practice of a truly evil geopolitics.

The Ongoing Relevance of the Methodolgy of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz

The importance of this study lies far beyond the surface issue of hearing. As the comparison for the visual cortex hints there is a unifying principle for the organization of the biological senses. On the level of ontology, the issue is whether the senses are a sort of blank slate or tabula rasa, or as Leibniz demonstrated there exists a pre-established harmony at a higher level of organization. In Leibniz' New Essays on Human Understanding, he refutes John Locke's assertions that knowledge is derived from mere sense certainty. The underlying issue is one of the choice of scientific methodology. The ideology that science is the mere logical construct derived from sensory input is a crippling mental condition which undermines progress. The necessity for an overriding mission for humanity to continuously perfect its practice is the principle that today entails our emergence as a space based civilization which can conquer manifold threats to our survival as a species in so doing. Indeed, without the contributions of Leibniz and co-thinkers, the development of physics which enables such a space based civilization would be impossible. For it was through Riemann's anti radical empiricism and  non Euclidean geometry, that the groundwork was laid for Einstein's theory of relativity.

Relativity of Time is Uniquely Human

As far as time is associated with the biophysics of a perceptual apparatus it remains on the level of that which non-human species can attain. Thus the research usage of animals cited here. However, distinctly human time is radically relativistic in the sense of a progressive species of ever more dense cardinal infinite numbers that were first identified by Georg Cantor: the Transfinites.

This principle of the absolute division that sets humanity apart from all the other species inhabiting the biosphere is evidenced in ongoing technological revolutions that have put mankind on the brink of literally inhabiting other worlds through colonization and economic development of the resources of extra terrestrial bodies. As a particularly remarkable example of this consider China's plan to mine the moon's abundant supply of Helium 3 isotope for fuel for future nuclear fusion reactors.

Edward Snowden and the Unconstitutional Executive Order 12333

The truth is Executive Order 12333 which authorizes that American citizens shall be treated as enemy nationals for the undefined objective of protecting "national security" itself is unconstitutional, period. This is the preeminent issue here. The drip by drip erosion of our constitution has been ongoing for decades. In particular, I experienced the use of 12333 against the organization with which I was formerly affiliated, that headed by Lyndon LaRouche. When it got too close to the corridors of power with Reagan's adoption of the SDI, all proverbial hell broke loose against it, including a paramilitary style invasion of its headquarters.

At the time, LaRouche's investigation of this egregious attack by his political opponents uncovered the use of that very same 12333 that Snowden was questioning as a violation of the constitutionally protect right against unwarranted surveillance and entrapment of American citizens.

A Perspective on the Mind

It is amazing frankly that given such an overarching debilitating and insidious epistemology controlling most academic institutions that we have yet to exterminate ourselves.

Reflection upon "Most distant massive galaxy cluster identified"

As the great Bernhard Riemann observed, on the scale of the nearly infinite, seeming causal constraints that govern our finite reality break down. This is so for the quantum world of the infinitesimal as well. For instance, how can it be that we detect both super massive black holes that are apparently sucking in whole stellar systems like the drain in a bathtub at the same time there that space itself is expanding through the so called cosmological constant? As for this newly discovered galaxy cluster, what is the force that holds them together? A super-super massive black hole?

Attempts to resolve such ironic anomalies through a grand unification theory by some sort of algebraic approach where we create the unknown parameters out of the strings of whole cloth is foolish. The real question is what sort of inherent potential is there in an evolving universe that allows for disparate yet interacting hierarchies of the inorganic, biophysical, and noetic. And in that particular context, what orientation should humanity adopt?

Because currently, we are being driven by patently suicidal impulses due to poor, mostly subconscious, choices regarding our belief of what constitutes human nature. Conversely, our destiny can be to conquer and tame such apparently chaotic cosmic and quantum forces for the benefit of our futurity. Or in the footsteps of Benjamin Franklin's gift of the lightning rod, our adopted mission must simply be to do The Good.

What Makes an Elite? A Reflection upon Immortality.

If the mind and soul is concentrated and oriented upon a mission to afford future generations a creative spark then this equates to a true character of happiness. And this is an uplifting quality which we all have in potential as uniquely human. That is the essence of our equality. In this way the ending of the Keats poem Ode on a Grecian Urn rings a clarion trumpet.:

Good versus Evil

What perspective do those hold who see the world stage as a perpetual source of chaos and calamity? It must by necessity be an apology for an imperium. A need for keeping the restive masses of humanity constantly at each others throats rather than at their real enemy. The "gods" must be honored and yet provide amusements amidst this veil of tears. Nothing really changes. It is pure illusion. There is an infinite empty space of society's ranks that allows for the rearrangement of titles like mere points on a grid that are meaningless in the end. This is the unspoken belief and "religion" that actuates the would be servitors of illusory financial power.

And yet there are those who would see and hear beauty amidst this most unnatural state of affairs. So thus Abraham Lincoln, William Shakespeare and Ludwig Van Beethoven's lives are as a beacon for the foolish few that would kick against the pricks. For in the end, what remains of our having lived but an example of a unremitting will to bequeath a mission to futurity that can finally overcome the insanity of worship of the graceless and execrable Mammon of the City of London and Wall Street? A will to discover and do the good, whatever the so-called odds of its attainment.

The Natural Order is Not Random

With the evidence that T Cells operate to direct mutations in order to combat invading diseases at the molecular level, it naturally follows that species operate in a similar manner against external threats. However, only one species, humanity, that we know of, acts self consciously to accelerate its own future well being by developing new degrees of freedom via the advent of technologies that redefine its resource base. Now we are being propagandized that we must give up this very mission orientation, in order to save mother nature. But that would be equivalent to operating with a sort of suicidal death wish. Just such an unnatural worldview has been promoted as wisdom increasingly over the course of the past century. Thus the irrational doctrine of randomness pervades the supposed intelligentsia.

This really boils down to an issue of the ontological premise of supposed stuff called "information." Bernhard Riemann's 1854 habilitation thesis addressed the issue of continuity versus discreteness at its most fundamental level. There is no final elemental physical stuff isolated and apart from human cognition. Rather there is an ongoing evolvability, if you will, of substance that is confined to interacting domains of the inert, biotic, and noetic. These realms all exhibit necessary singularities of discreteness and potential continuousness.

A recently non hysterical report on investigations regarding the solar minimum nature of cyclical sunspot activity and climate change was refreshingly welcome. This is especially so given the neo-Malthusian climate change agenda bombarding the "unenlightened masses" as "scientific" gospel. And these days the term gospel is germane given the turn away from the commandment to be fruitful and multiply in the book of Genesis toward the murderous worldview of the mother earth cults like Gaia afoot in today's putative academia. Listening to Obama's rhetoric (and Britain's Prince Philip, who wishes openly to be reincarnated as a deadly virus to cull the human herd of misfits) one could easily envision a newly minted form of a ministry of truth aimed at early construction of reeducation camps for the "deniers."

We live in a universe that conforms to an evolving principle. Karl Gauss developed a mathematical basis for the fundamental function of cyclical change known as higher arithmetic. The cited paper
"Heartbeat of the Sun from Principal Component Analysis and prediction of solar activity on a millenium timescale" if viewed in this light leads to some significant ontological implications. 

The false belief that humanity is limited to fixed natural resources is disproved by the ongoing history of scientific advances that redefine what constitute these very resources. This concept is widely acknowledged, for example, by the very names we give to the technological history of the human species. Animal behavior, on the other hand, is fixed. Therefore any system that would prohibit this uniquely human creative principle is prima facie profoundly unscientific from the outset. We are currently being misgoverned by a sort of church of latter day Luddites. And if we continue to deny this manifest quality of a higher ordering of human affairs that are not merely beholden to such cyclical "blind" forces of nature, we as a society will cause a radical new dark age far, far worse than any we have caused by such execrable benighted behavior heretofore.

If, on the other hand, we were to be governed by a unifying global initiative to develop the next phase of human history, the nuclear fusion age, including a cooperative space program to mine the fusion fuel helium 3 on the moon while protecting society from the danger of cometary impacts and space weather, vast water management and desalination projects, then we will have put to rest the madness of the age of mutually assured destruction. This can only come about by a take down of a cancerous speculative financial system that seeks to use geopolitical proxy warfare to control "limited" resources.

However, one needs to differentiate mere perception from higher order uniquely human thought of the type that revolutionizes technological practice. That is an order of complexity that is nowhere to be modeled by any possible binary sort of code. Why? Because such type of thinking is necessarily not fixed but uniquely coheres in a fugal manner with the ongoing development of the universal potential.

Protein Dynamics and the Riemannian Surface Function

Riemann's amazingly prescient method is yet to be adopted for biophysical research, yet it is certain that the sheer weight of evidence will eventually militate in its favor.

The Aging of Proteins and Subsumed Hierarchies of Monads

Recent research on the life cycle of proteins has some remarkable implications that reinforce the power of the epistemological method of Nicholas of Cusa and his heir, Gottfried Leibniz. This brings the issue of the human species' potential for immortality out of the realm of mere assertion.

Biological substance at the simplest level of proteins itself exhibits a highly controlled life and death cycle that is necessary for elementary organisms to survive. Thus the very necessity of the individual organism in a subsuming life and death cycle for its larger species nature to survive. This sort of movement from lower to higher life forms is not merely a sort of abstract classification that the purveyors of "information theory" mischaracterize as "Platonic" abstraction. Rather it is a physical certainty.

Further, it is undeniable that the uniquely distinguishing mark of humanity that sets it apart from all other known life forms is our ability to conquer and surpass the limits of the merely biological. All other species come and go, completely unable to determine their survival by changing the functioning of their fixed nature. (Only hysterical ideologues that truly hate humanity can deny this.)

The conception of this grand and universal hierarchical composition must become the foundation of all that deserves the name of science and art.

The Quest for a Theory of Everything is for Naught

This quote from Arkani-Hamed gets at the fundamental ontological flaw underlying the rationale of every attempt at a “theory of everything.” The evolution of life forms that capture and use energy ever more efficiently would not be possible in such a dead mathematical schema. Furthermore, human creative cognition that makes advances in technology would be entirely impossible.

The Shameful Truth About Theodore Roosevelt's Anglophilia

It should also be noted that he was also a lifelong fervent admirer of the Confederate cause of his uncle, Confederate Admiral James Dunwoody Bulloch. Further relevant is the fact that this uncle happened to be the chief foreign agent of the Confederacy in England. Bulloch is believed to have financed the plot to assassinate Abraham Lincoln by secretly funneling funds from London through Canada to the circle of John Wilkes Booth! Roosevelt also promoted Charles Bonaparte to Attorney General, the openly pro lynch mob great nephew of Napoleon Bonaparte. The Bonaparte family through Napaoleon III was also militarily allied to the Confederacy via his puppet regime of Maximilian in Mexico. It is highly relevant that this same Charles Bonaparte created the Bureau of Investigation which would become the FBI used by J. Edgar Hoover to undermine the civil rights movement. 

Theodore Roosevelt was passionately attached to British Empire "white man's burden" style of imperialism, an Anglophile through and through. His hideous staged "big game hunting" massacres are part and parcel of that mindset. He should not be honored in the least. Mt. Rushmore was monumentally defaced by the inclusion of the portrait of "Teddy Roosevelt."  The sort of sanitized pabulum that views Theodore Roosevelt as a hero of "progressivism" is a shameful ruse that needs to be vigorously and mercilessly refuted at every occasion.

Recent research from the Max Planck Institute indicates yet another unique property of water. It violates the supposed axiomatic law of random quantum fluctuations. It follows that the very same fluid that is the essential platform for fostering life would precisely exhibit this sort of molecular memory. The great universal experiment that is ever being created anew must perforce have embedded within its very substance a potentiality to develop continuously toward ever more ordered and complex domains.

Whence the Big Bang? Or A Tale of Stuff and Nonsense.

In the beginning there was nothing. And ever and anon we have those we call astronomers attempting to tell a story of how physical "stuff" we see out there came from naught. But even more perplexing is how their own minds were created that tell these stories of creation from time immemorial. Perhaps consciousness is a sort of cosmic background that needs to be accounted for in this narrative, otherwise they are missing the most important "stuff" of all.

The Fourth of July and Prometheus Unbound

Here is a "snapshot' of ultra-fast rotating nitrogen molecules at a hundred billion per second (femto seconds) recently resolved by the Ohshima Group of the Tokyo Institute of Technology. The boundaries of our macroscopic senses are simply incommensurate with this underlying reality of the infinitesimal world of motion. Likewise the motion of our planet with respect to the cosmic microwave background radiation is some 390 kilometers per second or about a tenth of a percent of the speed of light. Which speed is, of course, the absolute limit of all universal motion known.

As the great scientific pioneer Bernhard Riemann noted, the ability of human science to measure such astounding relative motions in the very small and the very large should convince us that we as a species are potentially immortal. It could only be a persistently stubborn infantile psychology that is akin to a suicidal "death wish" that would argue against such a self evident potential that separates our species qualitatively from all lower forms of life.

That is that we are in our creative capacity a potential instrument of ongoing universal creation. And this is what the Declaration of Independence truly signifies in the highest sense.

The Most Luminous Galaxy Has Been Hidden Until Now

But it is invisible to human perception because it is so obscured by dust that the light is only registered in the infrared portion of the spectrum.

Thus if we were to attempt to deduce from a "given" postulate this galaxy's existence, we would forever be in the dark. So much for Euclid and his acolytes like the benighted imperialist John Dee. Augustine's "corollary" to Paul's poetic declaration that we see as through a glass darkly must be remembered here: the Creator is not a clock winder or dead letter. The universal ongoing evolutionary potential is necessarily hidden from humanity's purview even as we co-evolve in a great fugue of discovery. 

Beauty is in the irony of development, not in the object per se. Truth is not a "thing in itself." In the sempiternal realm above time we will truly see face to face. And that is what it is to be human.

"Natural selection" is a execrably bestial and racialist dogma based upon white colored skin's suitability for less sunny climates. This is why the subtitle of Darwin's doctrine of evolution is "the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life." This excellent research is further evidence of a universal necessity of metastable chiral organization of living systems. The biophysical domain exhibits a scale free form of helical wave propagation. If this is disrupted life attenuates and fails. The chromatin form is merely a sort of slice or snapshot of that organizational process as it is made concrete in a singular cell or what Leibniz called a monad.

Is Obama a Thug?

It occurs to me a cogent argument could be made that Obama, by acting to promote the free trade TPP agreement which will continue to erode our economy and push more and more of our citizenry into irretrievable poverty and despair on behalf of a virtually criminal syndicate of Wall Street financiers, is indeed acting in a thuggish fashion. Many members of his own party have called him out on this but he is blatantly and cold bloodedly refusing to admit that his actions are utterly lawless.

It's one thing to destroy property on a small scale; it's entirely another to knowingly destroy the nation you have sworn to defend.

Baltimore and the Looting of America via Free Trade by Both Political Parties

The current state of the city of Baltimore is a paradigm for an economic policy that has been nurtured by our so-called political elites. We have been systematically looted to secure profits for criminal speculative interests. These are, by the way, the same interests that Obama is willingly obeying in his promotion of the latest free trade TPP disaster.

This is intentional. So long as this nation kowtows too the swindle of too big to jail Wall Street financial houses, we will descend toward a state of anomie. Loretta Lynch did not criminally prosecute HSBC for billions of drug money laundering. Congressional Republicans had nothing to say about that. The misdirection of the true cause of inner city hopelessness is wholesale economic devastation that is the result of the post industrial/information age fraud.

We require a wiping out off the books of illegitimate debt for derivative securities and the establishment of credit for resolving the collapsed infrastructure, housing, and water crises. Deadly and mindless rioters are the best friends that the real culprits rely on to shift the blame away from their continued enjoyment of financial control.

The Force of Ideas

Imagine an integral function equivalent to the totality over all time of human ideas that qualify as positively impacting our species' survivability via increasing control over physical space-time. What is the rank of the force of such a functional field? Is it possible to compare the totality of ideas as such to the kind of force of atomic elements as they are produced in the core of supernovae and black holes or perhaps other phenomena we have yet to cognize? I would venture that there is a sort of fugal interplay among these two kinds of fields with ideas acting upon and transforming the substrate of the domains of both the inert and living elemental forms.

Now, it is at this level that the issue of lawfulness must be brought to bear. For if you believe that what I have just put forward is merely illusory and that humanity in truth has ultimately no such power then your reaction might be very fearful to the point of desiring to defeat any such "pretensions" as inherently threatening to your identity. This indeed is the sort of worldview that motivates those doomsayers who espouse universal chaotic entropy, otherwise sometimes styled as purveyors of the misbegotten notion of "artificial intelligence." On the other hand, the principled classical humanistic approach since the time of at least Homer through Nicholas of Cusa always proceeds on an optimistic platform of mission orientation that the power of human ideas will overcome all potential obstacles because that is how reality is so organized. Which is to say that in essence the idea of irrational entropic non-governance as a force is insubstantial and fatally flawed.

Helical Light Wave Propagation and Time

As this recent experimental work with "twisted light" demonstrates, physical and metaphysical wave propagation has a dual nature. Both spherical and helical. Thus forming a tore or anchor ring. The singularity at the center represents the point of alternation from acceleration to deceleration. It is a fascinating model that applies to the means that technologies are at the same time both developed and propagated. It is also might even be considered to be a refinement on a quality of a dual nature of least action pathways over time. Adding an additional dimension of complexity to times' vector.

Economics is Not the Same as Monetary Profit

A recent report that I happened across today exemplifies the total lack of understanding of economics prevalent among today's academics. The report argues that "The constant use of economic arguments in defense of research funding perpetuates a rarely articulated but implicit misconception that the natural sciences should be subservient to economics in the pecking order of intellectual authority."

This is flat out wrong. The reason is that the popular concept of economics is that it is defined (consciously or not) as any activity that produces a monetary profit. So, for instance, if we make swindling legal (which is all that most economists' palaver about innovative deregulation is) then it's now economics! 

Go to the popular market monitoring Internet sites like MSNBC and you will experience with very little digging all sorts of supposedly objective articles pushing the "economics" of pornography, prostitution and illegal drugs, for instance. Money, as anyone not brain dead knows, is merely a convenient fiction that can be issued at will. It is only the force of an arranged political agreement that gives it backing. So when Abraham Lincoln issued "greenbacks" that were the basis for internal improvements including the construction of the continental railway the force of the Union being victorious in the civil war provided their credit worthiness. Of course, we know what happened to the worth of the Confederate notes of Jefferson Davis. 

"The fault, dear academics, is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are underlings." True science is the only pathway for the future survival for humanity. It is the responsibility to enable that sort of science to profit and to deter that which has the opposite effect. For example, should it be profitable to develop a means to defend ourselves from meteor impacts, from drought, or from earthquakes? Or should our priority be to fund meretricious research into ways to win at Texas Hold'em?

The definition of economics is purely political. This is why we have the risible threat from Wall Street that any candidate that takes away their feeding trough by returning to the Glass-Steagall regulation of the separation of "investment banking" from deposit banking will be punished by being cut off from funding.

The fundamental issue within Islam over the centuries since its establishment parallels that within Christianity and Judaism. In one version of belief, humanity is ruled through irrational fear and hatred, which is historically epitomized by a pantheon of irrational and arbitrary power in the hands of an oligarchy that maintains itself by keeping a population in deliberate backward subservience. The other pole is represented by the principle that the individual is potentially an invaluable asset for the ongoing progress of society's mission to uplift its standard of living and provide solutions to urgent threats and bequeath to future generations the benefits of science and the arts. The European Renaissance would not have been possible without the work of great scholars from the Islamic world like Ibn Sina who themselves revived the Platonic method of ancient Greece. And without that influence we would have no principle of a democratic constitutional republic.

The Fallacy of Artificial Intelligence

The recent spate of popularity for the notion that so called artificial intelligence will take over and annihilate mankind from the likes of Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk, et al. results from a fallacious worldview that cannot differentiate that which sets humanity apart from all known biological species, (let alone insentient machines.) Mankind's "divine spark," if you will, is our willfully unique evolutionary mission to uplift our standard of living through continuous technological progress. Historically this quality is encapsulated in the classical "myth" of Prometheus the bestower of fire. The mentality that seeks to suppress beneficial technological progress is that of the "mythical" Zeus. This today is represented by financial powers that seek to deliberately keep the standard of living spiraling downward in order to bail out uncollectable debt (for example derivative securities.) The real issue is whether computational advances will be relegated merely as a new kind of parlor games bread and circuses or whether it will be properly subordinated to the service of humanity.
